Camping in the Jura / Vosges

The ideal place for a relaxing holiday

When the snow has melted and the ski slopes have given way to flower-filled meadows, camping in the Jura / Vosges becomes the ideal place for a relaxing holiday, with plenty to see and do.

With towering peaks, plunging pine tree covered valleys, crystal clear waters, like Lake Gerardmer and cascading waterfalls, it’s hard to imagine a more dramatic backdrop for a holiday.

Walk or cycle around the area, picnic in summer meadows and discover caves and grottos cut into the limestone hills.

You’ll also be close enough to the Swiss, German and Italian borders to drive over to enjoy a truly international break.

Strasbourg is the capital of Alsace and in the older part of town, known as Petite France, there are winding streets lined with half-timbered houses and a river which divides into four different canals traversed by covered bridges.

Dijon is a thriving commercial and cultural centre well known for it’s mustard and other gastronomic delights.
